"Investment Opportunities and Risks in One Belt One Road Countries" lecture held by Ningbo Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese

In response to President Xi Jinping's "One Belt One Road" initiative, Ningbo’s enterprises of returned overseas Chinese have been encouraged to actively participate in the construction of the project, attending the lecture "Investment Opportunities and Risks in One Belt One Road Countries". The event took place in Lee House on November 18, sponsored by Ningbo Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, organized by UISEC – East China and AZIMUT Group, in collaboration with Laowaitan International Talents Community and Dedalo Business Management Co., Ltd. Zhang Yongjun, vice chairman of Ningbo Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and Huang Yanting, chairman of Ningbo Dedalo Business Management Co., Ltd., attended the event.


Mr. Zhao Bailing, the General Manager and CIO of AZ Investment Management (Shanghai), was the main speaker. During the lecture, thanks to his rich experience, he used simple and clear political, economic and financial charts to analyze and interpret in detail the investment opportunities and risks in the countries along the "One Belt One Road" project. It was an important lesson for the vast number of returned overseas Chinese’s enterprises about how to find new business opportunities in "One Belt One Road" Countries, how to invest abroad and the risks. During an interactive session, Zhao Bailing held an active discussion and exchange with the guests about current important issues such as the appreciation of the Renminbi, the rationality of risk assessment, and the return of overseas students.


On September the 5th, the Zhejiang provincial government formally approved the establishment of Ningbo's comprehensive experimental area of the project "One Belt One Road". This is a great opportunity for Ningbo to reach a higher level and a faster development. In addition, Ningbo, as the "living fossil" and the "One Belt One Road" origin city on the ancient maritime Silk Road, has relevant position in driving the development of Zhejiang in many directions and enhancing the competitiveness of the province.


More than 50 returned overseas Chinese business representatives and students from Haishu District, Jiangbei District, Yinzhou District and Zhenhai District as well as returned overseas Chinese business associations and Returned Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce attended the event.
